Since 655 A.D. women have enjoyed the look and feel of this textile- a lovely soft white cotton, with delicate white cotton embroidery on it. It hides a little, that what needs to be covered, and it shows a little. Perfect for hot summers. Classy, and like all things wonderful and intricate, it came from Persia. The British mill cloth almost killed this art form but the Muslim rulers revived it.
